The Tax Agency awards the Vista Real manor house and other assets to the "Los Charlines" clan

23 properties awarded for an amount of 2,055,582.76 euros.

Yesterday, December 16, the Tax Agency awarded part of the seized assets to the “Los Charlines” drug trafficking clan. 10 assets have been awarded to the highest bidders for a total amount of 1,517,396.76 euros. The Vista Real manor stands out, awarded to the Council of Vilanova de Arousa for an amount of 1,085,000 euros. They have also been awarded a basin, three apartments and five parking spaces.

The assets awarded yesterday were already auctioned between October 5 and 19 and whose bidding had been deserted. Subsequently, a period was opened for the direct presentation of offers that ended on December 9, having received 75 offers in sealed envelopes or online.  In the October auction, 13 assets had already been sold for an amount of 538,186 euros (two punts, an auxiliary boat, an industrial warehouse and several apartments and parking spaces).
In total, 23 assets have been awarded for an amount of 2,055,582.76 euros.

5 punts, 19 parking spaces and other properties remain to be awarded due to lack of offers or because the offers presented were very low. For these assets, the direct award period is extended until February 15, 2011, and new offers may be submitted until that date. The assets seized from clan companies that could not be included in the previous auction for technical reasons and the assets seized from individuals convicted in the same sentence will soon be put up for auction if they do not first pay the fines imposed. These are several rural properties, apartments and commercial premises.
