Help for self-employed workers and unemployed people

  • The first support services are now available, which will include brochures, explanatory videos, solutions to frequently asked questions and information posters in the offices.

  • Since the application must be made electronically, applicants must register in the 'Clave' system, which can be done online, by video call or in person at the Agency's offices.

  • The application form has been defined taking into account the information from other organizations that is necessary to expedite the processing.

  • For the application, it will only be necessary to provide the identification data and address of the applicant and the people with whom he or she lives in the home, as well as a contact telephone number and the bank account number to make the payment.

July 8, 2022 .- The Tax Agency has today made available to all potential beneficiaries the online form with which to request the 200 euro aid for people with low income and assets established by Royal Decree-Law 11/2022, of June 25. The form for this one-time payment hotline has been defined taking into account the information from other public bodies that is necessary to speed up the processing of applications.

Thus, although the Royal Decree establishes that applicants have until 30 September to request aid and that the Tax Agency may make payments in the following three months, work is being done to speed up the processing of the aid as much as possible, which requires having certain prior contrasting information that the Agency has already requested from other organisations.

The form is published in the highlighted information section of the Agency's electronic headquarters, ( https://sede.agenciatributaria.gob.es ), and it will only be necessary to fill in the identification data and address of the applicant and the people with whom he or she lives in the home, as well as a contact telephone number and the bank account number to make the payment of the aid.

Brochures and explanatory videos

In addition to being able to count on this basic information for initial comparison in order to finish defining the form, the other reason why it has been decided to publish it at the end of the week is to give applicants who are not registered in the 'Clave' system, nor do not have an electronic certificate, a prior margin so that they can carry out this simple registration procedure in 'Clave' online or by video call, avoiding travel, or in the offices of the Agency or other public bodies. Registration for 'Clave' only requires providing ID details and a mobile phone number.

All the necessary information regarding this procedure, as well as the information related to the 200 euro grant, will be included in brochures and explanatory videos that will be published on the Agency's website. A specific block of frequently asked questions about the aid is now available on the website, and all of this will be complemented by informative posters in the customer service areas of the offices throughout the country.

 Beneficiary groups and requirements

The aid consists of a one-off payment of 200 euros for self-employed or employed workers and unemployed people registered at the employment office who live in households in which the sum of the income received by the cohabitants is less than 14,000 euros in 2021 and whose assets, excluding the habitual residence, do not exceed 43,196.4 euros.

Income and assets will be calculated jointly, taking into account all persons residing with the beneficiary in the same domicile as of January 1, 2022.

The purpose of this one-off payment is to mitigate the detrimental effect on prices caused by the energy crisis resulting from the invasion of Ukraine in situations of economic vulnerability not covered by other social benefits. In this regard, the increase in contributory pensions is already guaranteed in line with inflation, while the minimum vital income and non-contributory retirement and disability pensions already benefit from an extraordinary increase provided for in the same Royal Decree-Law 11/2022.
