Groups of beneficiaries and requirements

The aid takes the form of a single payment of 200 euros for self-employed or employed workers and beneficiaries of unemployment benefit or subsidy in 2022 who last year did not exceed 27,000 euros gross income and whose assets – discounting the habitual residence – will not exceed 75,000 euros. The beneficiaries must have habitual residence in Spain in 2022.

To calculate the amounts, the income and assets of the following people who live at the same address must be added: the beneficiary himself; your spouse or common-law partner; descendants under 25 years of age, or with disabilities, with incomes that do not exceed 8,000 euros; and ascendants up to the second degree by direct line (parents and grandparents).

As in the case of the previous aid of 200 euros, the purpose of this new single payment is to alleviate the detrimental effect on prices caused by the energy crisis derived from the invasion of Ukraine in situations of economic vulnerability not covered by other benefits of a nature. social. In this sense, the increase in contributory pensions is already guaranteed in line with inflation, while the Minimum Living Income (IMV) and non-contributory pensions already benefit from an extraordinary increase of 15%. Therefore, recipients of the IMV and Social Security pensions as of December 31, 2022 are not recipients of this aid.

On the other hand, the Royal Decree establishes the requirement that none of the aforementioned cohabitants be the director of an active company in 2022, or the owner of unlisted shares or participations.
