Terms of service for the ConectAEAT app
By accessing the “ConectAEAT” application for mobile devices, as a User, you must grant consent to the processing of your data, as well as read and accept the privacy policy and the following terms of service.
Consequently, the User must read them carefully before accessing the APP ConectAEAT and using any of its functionalities.
The use of the ConectAEAT APP service is personal, free, voluntary and open to the User.
Its use on behalf of another person is prohibited.
1. What is the ConectAEAT APP?
APP ConectAEAT is an application for mobile devices that allows internal, collaborating and external users of the AEAT, hereinafter users, based on their profile, to quickly manage their credentials to access the AEAT Information System.
The State Tax Administration Agency, as the owner of the ConectAEAT APP, makes the ConectAEAT APP available to users for download from the App Store, Play Store and AppGallery application markets.
2. Use and access to the ConectAEAT APP
In order to access the personalized services offered by the ConectAEAT APP, the User must activate the application on their mobile device indicating their DNI, NIE or passport and their unique user code, and enter the activation code that will be sent by SMS to the telephone number associated as a means of contact on the Intranet. 1
The ConectAEAT APP can only be active on one device. Therefore, if the application is activated on a mobile device other than the one on which the application was previously activated, the application will be deactivated on the device on which it was activated.
Additionally, for security reasons, the mobile device where the application is activated is required to have some user authentication factor configured on its device (PIN, pattern, code, fingerprint, facial recognition, etc.). This factor will be necessary to unlock the ConectAEAT APP as well as to use any service offered by it.

3. Security and privacy
The security measures implemented correspond to those provided for in Annex II (Security Measures) of Royal Decree 311/2022, of May 3, which regulates the National Security Scheme.
Please be advised that personal data will be processed in accordance with the provisions of the APP ConectAEAT Privacy Policy, the full content of which can be consulted at https://sede.agenciatributaria.gob.es/Sede/en_gb/politicaprivacidadappconectaeat.html.
4. Intellectual and industrial property
The State Tax Administration Agency is the owner and holder of all intellectual and industrial property rights relating to the ConectAEAT APP service.
The texts, designs, images, databases, logos, structure, brands and other elements of APP ConectAEAT are protected by international laws and treaties on intellectual and industrial property. Any reproduction, transmission, adaptation, translation, modification, communication to the public, or any extraction of all or part of the content of this site, carried out in any form or by any means, electronic, mechanical or otherwise, is strictly prohibited unless prior written authorization is obtained from its corresponding Owner or such content is subject to Creative Commons licenses, in which case the uses covered by these licenses will be permitted according to the application modality in each case.
The legitimacy of the intellectual and industrial property rights corresponding to the agreements provided by third parties is the exclusive responsibility of said third parties.
In order to preserve any intellectual property rights, in the event that any User or third party considers that there has been a violation of their legitimate rights due to the introduction of certain content into APP ConectAEAT, they must notify the Owner of this circumstance in writing.
5. Responsibility and obligations
APP ConectAEAT is offered with the best efforts to guarantee its quality and avoid errors and, where appropriate, repair or update them as soon as possible. Likewise, the User accepts that the service may be interrupted when necessary for maintenance work, for the time strictly necessary.
The ConectAEAT APP User must:
- Activate some user authentication factor (PIN, pattern, code, fingerprint, facial recognition, etc.) on the mobile device where the application is activated and keep it carefully protected, preventing unauthorized third parties from accessing it and, therefore, ensuring its confidentiality.
- Make good use of the APP ConectAEAT and the content, information and services provided from or through the APP ConectAEAT, in accordance with the law, good faith and generally accepted good practices, expressly committing to:
- Refrain from engaging in practices or using the services for illegal or fraudulent purposes, or that are detrimental to the rights or interests of the Owner or third parties, or that violate the rules contained in this document.
- Refrain from carrying out any type of action that could render useless, overload or damage the systems, equipment or services of the APP ConectAEAT or those accessible directly or indirectly through it.
- Respect the intellectual and industrial property rights of the Owner and third parties over the content, information and services provided from or through APP ConectAEAT, generally refraining from copying, distributing, reproducing or communicating them in any way to third parties, unless there is express written authorization from the Owner or Owners of said rights.
- Do not impersonate any third party.
- Immediately report any indication of a security breach in the APP ConectAEAT, inappropriate or prohibited uses of the services provided therein, or security breaches of any kind.
As a User of the ConectAEAT APP, the User is solely responsible for the use he or she decides to make of its services.
The Owner shall not be liable under any circumstances for any improper use of the ConectAEAT APP.
In any case, the Owner reserves the right to, at any time and without prior notice, modify or eliminate the content, structure, design, services and conditions of access and/or use of this site, whenever it deems appropriate, provided that such change does not affect the principles and rights of data protection.
Likewise, the reproduction, distribution, transmission, adaptation or modification, by any means and in any form, of the contents of APP ConectAEAT (texts, designs, graphics, information, databases, sound and/or image files, logos and other elements of these sites) is prohibited, except with prior authorization from its legitimate Owners or when permitted by the Creative Commons license that may be applicable to the contents or by the applicable regulations in force.
6. Links
APP ConectAEAT includes within its content links to sites belonging to and/or managed by the State Tax Administration Agency in order to offer the User personalized information and management.
7. Supported operating systems and versions
The Owner only guarantees the correct functioning of the ConectAEAT APP on mobile devices with Android 8 or higher and iOS 14 or higher operating systems.
8. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
These conditions of use shall be governed and interpreted in each and every one of their aspects by Spanish Law. In those cases where current regulations do not provide for the obligation to submit to a specific jurisdiction or legislation, the Owner and the Users, waiving any other jurisdiction that may apply to them, submit to the courts and tribunals of Madrid capital (Spain).
