Presentation of freight manifests
The cargo manifest should be presented to the Port Authority, which is in charge of electronically forwarding it to Customs through the State Ports Authority, according to the Order of 18 December 2001.
The specifications for its electronic presentation should be requested from the Port Authority.
Below are the technical guidelines for sending it from the State Ports Authority to Customs Office
Procedure
You can find out the status where one is sent, provided it has been received in the Customs information system. To access the enquiry, you must identify yourself using the digital signature in compliance with the requirements set forth in Order HAP/800/2014. For security purposes, only tax returns filed by the holder of the certificate can be viewed.
Technical Guides
The system establishes the possibility of sending the declaration by means of EDIFACT/CUSCAR messages. Below is the Technical Guide for the preparation of the Cargo Manifest/Summary Declaration message (CARCAR message with CARRES response), which can be downloaded in PDF format.
