5.86. Third Party Census
Description of the activity
Statistical control of intra-community operations through information from third-party respondents included in the census and who, on behalf of intra-community operators, present Intrastat statistical data.

Statistical control of intra-community operations.
Legitimation
According to article 6.1.c of EU Regulation 2016/679, personal data may be processed when “the processing is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation applicable to the data controller”.
In this regard, Commission Regulation (EC) No 1982/2004 of 18 November 2004, implementing Regulation (EC) No 638/2004 of the European Parliament and of the Council, on Community statistics, applies. of exchanges of goods between Member States, and by which Commission Regulations (EC) No 1901/2000 and (EEC) No 3590/92 are repealed.
