Notice regarding technical incident at Headquarters on July 20, 2022

On July 20, 2022, a technical incident occurred in the Electronic Headquarters of the Tax Agency. As a consequence, there was a period of service unavailability of approximately one hour between 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m.

Under these circumstances, certain incidents were observed in the filing and payment of returns by obtaining the NRC.

The NRC is the alphanumeric code that justifies the payment of a specific tax obligation by a citizen.

The different situations in which you may find yourself are the following:

  1. If you entered the amount, obtaining the NRC, and you could not submit the self-assessment with that income because the computer system did not recognize that NRC, several cases may arise:

    1. He finally managed to present the self-assessment, either on July 20 or later, but with recognition of debt, either without income or with a request for postponement. In this case, the Tax Agency will match the self-assessment with the income made, without having to do anything else.

    2. He was unable to file the self-assessment. In this case, you have until July 28 to present it, doing so by using the first NRC (the one that gave you an error and was not recognized on July 20), since it is currently available again for use in said presentation. .

  2. In any other case, if you consider that you have a pending incident, submit a document via the Registry indicating in detail the circumstances of the incident, inserting in the title: “INCIDENCE HEADQUARTERS JULY 20”.

Finally, we apologize for the inconvenience caused and inform you that the late submission of the self-assessments affected by this specific incident will not generate surcharges or penalties.
