Penalty system

If you are obliged to file the Intrastat declaration, do not forget to do so within the legal period, as well as check the identification data and the content of the declaration filed, since failure to file the declaration on time or the inclusion of false, erroneous or incomplete data could result in penalties. The initiation of penalty proceedings is not an exemption from filing or correcting the declaration.

If you have received notification of penalty proceedings commencing, you may submit your side of events. There is also the possibility of a 40% reduction in the fine if you acknowledge your responsibility for the infringement and pay the fine before the decision is issued, but this reduction is conditional on the withdrawal or waiver of any administrative action or appeal against the fine.
