Obligations of the AEO and requirements for maintaining the authorisation
It is the obligation of the AEO authorisation holder to verify that the requirements that were audited by the customs for the concession continue to be fulfilled. This means effectively applying the procedures or tools that the AEO has implemented and updated, to detect non-compliance and irregularities in its operations, as well as, where appropriate, taking the necessary corrective measures to solve these situations.
It is the obligation of the holder of the AEO authorization to inform without delay to the issuing customs authority of any element that arises after the granting of the same that may influence its maintenance or content, by virtue of as provided for in article 23.2 of Regulation (EU) No. 952/2013.
The holder of the AEO authorization is obliged to maintain adequate compliance with the conditions and requirements required by the regulations for its granting, as well as its obligations.
