The "Subject" section cannot be completed in the Generic Certificate application
In the application for a generic certificate, you must complete the "Subject" section, indicating the reason for the request. This is a free text without an established format, although the form includes a text editor with some features.
If you are using the Internet Explorer browser, associated with the Windows operating system, and it is not possible to complete this field, it is because the regional and language settings are not in Spain (region) or Spanish (language). In this case, the form would be seen as follows:
To avoid modifying the regional configuration and language of the device, the recommended solution would be to install another browser such as Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome in Spanish. If you already have this browser installed in another language and you install the version in Spanish again on the same path, the settings will not be lost, the language will simply be modified. Then you can reinstall it in your original language.
After installing the Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome browser in the Spanish language, the "Subject" section would look like this:
If you wish to continue using the Internet Explorer browser, you will need to change the regional and language settings (less recommended option).
