Access path to procedures
Depending on the procedure of the electronic office you access, you can choose between the different identification systems available.
-
Certificate or electronic DNI
The electronic certificate is a digital signature that is installed in the browser to guarantee identity and allows you to carry out procedures without having to travel, for example accessing tax data, filing tax returns online, making payments or requesting certifications directly through the Tax Agency website.
The digital signature that includes the DNIe will allow you to carry out the same procedures as other types of electronic certificates, provided that the certificate has not expired.
For more information about the electronic certificate and the DNIe consult the help on "Electronic certificates" and " DNI electronic ( DNIe )".
-
Cl@ve
It is an identification system that allows you to carry out procedures online based on agreed-upon keys with a limited validity period and that can be renewed whenever necessary. It involves the use of a verification code given by the application once your identification data has been entered or by means of a QR code and displayed in the Cl@ve APP; or by using a code chosen by the user and a PIN communicated via SMS or in the APP and which requires prior registration.
There are a large number of procedures that allow access through Cl@ve: submission of information returns, quarterly and monthly self-assessments (if you are not required to use an electronic certificate), consultation, modification and confirmation of the Income Tax draft, in addition to submission of the annual IRPF return, request for tax certifications, request for advance payment for a large family, an ascendant with two children or disabled persons in their care, etc.
In the "Cl@ve - Technical Help" section you will find all the related information.
-
Reference number
This identification option is enabled for the different Income services available for each campaign. The reference is valid for carrying out a multitude of Income Tax procedures online, from requesting an appointment to obtaining your declaration through the Renta WEB system and filing the IRPF declaration, provided that they result in a refund or a direct debit payment.
The information that will be requested to obtain the Income reference will be box 505 of the 2022 Income tax return, in addition to the validity/issue date of the DNI or the support number of the NIE . See the help "How to obtain the reference of your Income Tax file with a box".
-
TOKEN
It is a temporary numerical code necessary to act on your own behalf or on behalf of third parties through the telephone channel. It is essential to have an electronic certificate to obtain the TOKEN, which will be valid for 1 hour from the date it is obtained.
-
Other identification systems
There are alternatives to the systems described above for specific procedures; for example, consulting electronic documents and downloading files using CSV (Secure Verification Code).
