Return code 98. Error communicating with the financial entity

The message " Error. Return code: 98. Communication error with EE.FF. "It is produced by making payments or inquiries about them in the AEAT payment gateway. There is an error in the Financial Entity selected to manage the payment.

One of these messages will be shown:

There has been a temporary error. Please try again later. If the error persists, contacting the Financial Entity that is processing the payment is recommended or try to carry out the process with a different entity.

Check if the charge has been made to your account. If so, you can retrieve the NRC and use it in the options for checking a previous payment by direct debit (card or Bizum). If your account has not been charged, please repeat the entire payment process.
