Joint Accounts - There are not enough representatives or the second NIF is missing because it is a joint account
Joint accounts are those that require the authorization of all account holders before carrying out any transaction.
It is not possible to pay taxes through joint accounts via the Payment Gateway of AEAT.
An error may be obtained as a response from the Financial Institution, however, the incident occurs in the operation of AEAT, since this double signature operation is not accepted on our payment gateway. The errors that entities will usually return due to this can be:
"The operation could not be performed. Response from the Financial Institution: [85] There are not enough proxies"
Ç
"An error has occurred. Origin: EF . 82- Second missing NIF because it is a joint account"
Those affected must obtain the NRC directly to your Financial Institution. For fees, it is possible that they may proceed since the authentication corresponds to the body managing the fee. In this case, they must contact the body that manages the fee (if the fee is from the AEAT, double signature will not be accepted).
