If you have made a payment on the payment gateway of the AEAT correctly but have not been able to obtain the Reference Number NRC, due to a specific incident, you can recover it without having to resort to the corresponding consultation option of a previous payment, using the button "Recovery of NRC".
This button allows you to obtain the NRC immediately and does not generate new charges.
For the "Retrieve from NRC" button to be displayed, these requirements must be met:
You are accessing the payment or linking from a form, with the Payment Gateway of the AEAT and you are not accessing via the option to consult a previous payment.
You have made the payment correctly and there is a charge in the financial institution.
That you did not get NRC on the screen due to an issue, possibly one-off.
Note:if the block to the NRC screen comes from third party applications outside the Financial Institution (Bank or Savings Bank) and the AEAT, this button will not be displayed. For example, pop-up blockers in the browser or anti-virus software, which may block some of the content you see on the screen. In these cases, the most advisable thing to do is to consult the payment on the AEAT website or at the financial institution.
When you access the payment again, a window will appear with the button "Retrieve NRC" next to the text "The charge was successful but due to technical problems the NRC cannot be released, use the Retrieve NRC option. This process will not generate additional charges on your account".This text indicates that the transaction was successful and the charge exists.
By clicking on the button "Recover from NRC" you can get these results:
If you retrieve the NRC correctly it is displayed on the screen as if you had just processed the charge.
If the NRC cannot be retrieved, will not proceed. In this case you will get a message that NRC could not be verified:"We have not been able to confirm the income with your entity.Try again. This process will not result in any additional charges to your account.
If you are persistently unable to retrieve the NRC, consult the NRC on the website using the link to consult a previous payment located in the block "Pay, defer and consult", "All procedures", "Consult debts", "Consult previous payments...".or contact your financial institution.
