Part IX. the TIR regime (applicable within the Union)

Part IX deals with the movement of goods under TIR Carnets.

Section IX.2 refers to the authorizations of the guarantor association and the TIR carnet holders.

Section IX.3 describes the TIR guarantee system in the context of its application within the Union.

Section IX.4 sets out the actions to be taken by the customs office of departure or entry and any discrepancies.

Section IX.5 sets out the actions to be taken by the customs office of destination or exit, as well as incidents, irregularities and the completion of the TIR operation.

Section IX.6 describes the collection and investigation procedures.

Section IX.7 describes the procedure related to the authorized recipient.
