V.6.3. Procedures at the destination customs office

This section provides information related to:

• the presentation of the goods together with the documents at the customs office of destination (section V.6.3.1);
• control of the completion of the regime (section V.6.3.2).

In this section it is assumed that no irregularities have occurred. Section V.6.4.4 indicates the measures to be taken if these have occurred.

Note: The completion of the transit procedure at the customs office of destination does not equate to its completion. It will be up to the customs office of departure to decide, based on the information provided by the customs office of destination, whether the transit procedure can be completed.
