The most common way to navigate through this new Headquarters will be to click on any of the texts that appear in blue (in white on a blue background in some areas, such as the header, menu bar or Footer), both in the own home page, as in any of the Topics / subtopics, blocks, components, information pages, etc. throughout the entire website.
This information structure, combined with the “Featured Managements” components, enables very simple navigation, allowing access to the most important managements used in two or in some cases three navigation levels at most.
When you access a topic from any of the blocks mentioned above, a page with two columns is presented:
- The Left column contains the themes that make up the block in question, among which the selected theme appears with a blue background, and it is possible to change the theme easily by clicking on any other theme.
- The Column on the right contains, first, the featured procedures component (if applicable) that would allow access to any of the most used procedures of the topic, and then the list of sub-topics, which can be selected by clicking on any of them. .
Once a sub-topic has been selected, a two-column page is presented again:
The left column contains the list of sub-topics of the previously selected topic, among which the selected sub-topic appears with a blue background, and it is possible to change the sub-topic easily by clicking on any other subtopic.
The right column contains:
- The “Featured Managements” component if applicable, which allows quick access to any of the most important or used managements of the sub-topic.
- Section “Information” , if applicable, which will be made up of one or several pages with information about the sub-topic in question, its procedures, etc.
There are two types of information pages:
- Simple: Composed of a single page with the corresponding information. Example of a “simple” information page:
- Multiple or paginated: Composed of several pages, equipped with an index that allows direct access to any of them. Example of an informative page “Multiple or paginated”:
In both cases, these pages also consist of two columns: The left column contains the information itself, and the right column contains components of outstanding procedures, related content, regulations, etc.
- Section “Help” , if applicable, which may be composed of one or several documents (Word, pdf, etc.) with more detailed information on the topic/sub-topic in question.
- Section “Related content” , if applicable, which contains links to content located in other semes or subtopics of the headquarters, but that has some type of relationship with the sub-topic in question.
- Section “Regulations” , if applicable, which contains the list of Regulations on the topic/sub-topic in question.
- “Frequently asked questions” section, if applicable, which contains a list of frequently asked questions related to the topic/sub-topic in question. In general, this component, if it exists, will also be folded.
In general, these last three sections are presented folded, in order not to “dirty” the pages with too much information, but they are easily unfoldable/foldable by clicking on the vertical arrows on the right side of the component.
