2018 Maternity and Paternity Benefits

Until 2018, maternity and paternity benefits declared by Social Security were recorded under code B. From 2018 onwards, as a result of the ruling that declared these benefits as exempt income, they are recorded in form 190 under code L27 and, for statistical purposes, are incorporated into the total payroll, adding their amount to the earnings under code A.
