Methodology

Content of the publication

The publication consists of the present Methodology, the Statistical Tables, representative graphs and maps, and the Annexes.

The Methodology provides the population and territorial scope of the investigated group, defines the variables that are the object of exploitation and presents the classification variables used.

With regard to the Statistical Tables, initially a general table is presented with data on the total population according to the nature of their remuneration, broken down into three different sections, one for each type of remuneration studied (salaried employment, pensions and unemployment), from which detailed information can be obtained by different variables and cross-variables, and all of them represented with graphs that help us to interpret the data in the tables and representative maps when the information is broken down by Autonomous Communities and Provinces.

Each of the data and breakdowns that appear in the tables of the publication will be available only when there is a certain minimum of observations in the chosen cross, considering this minimum sufficient and necessary to safeguard the secrecy and confidentiality of the contributors, having to choose another option in case the desired data is protected.

The Annexes include the Sectoral Classification in terms of headings of the Economic Activities Tax, as well as the methodological changes that have arisen over the years.
