Until her appointment as Director of the Department of Financial and Tax Inspection by Resolution of September 25, 2026, of the Presidency of the State Tax Administration Agency, she performed the following functions in the State Tax Administration Agency:

• Special Delegate for Andalusia, Ceuta and Melilla (2019 - 2026 and 2004 - 2010)

• Head of National Inspection Team. Central Delegation of Large Taxpayers (2010 - 2018)

• Head of Regional Inspection. Special Delegation of Andalusia, Ceuta and Melilla (2003 - 2004)

• Delegate of the AEAT in Granada (1999 - 2003)

• Head of the Tax Management Unit at the Granada Delegation (1988 - 1999)

• Head of Inspection Unit at the Almería Delegation (1985 - 1988)

She also served as Delegate of Economy and Finance for Granada between 1988 and 2003. From 2017 to the present, he has participated in the International Monetary Fund in providing technical assistance to the General Tax Directorates of Central American countries.

Functions of the Department

The Financial and Tax Inspection Department is responsible for the functions of article 5 of Order PRE/3581/2007, of December 10, which establishes the departments of the State Tax Administration Agency and assigns them functions and powers.
