3.2.1. Tax information

The Tax Agency makes the "INFORMA Program" available for the citizens on line, a database that contains, in a question-answer format, the main application criteria of the tax regulations. In 2013, the number of accesses to this program has reached 5,030,699, 12 per cent more that in 2012.

A Basic Tax Information Call Centre Service (901 33 55 33) on the main taxes is likewise available from Monday to Friday, from 9am to 7pm (except in the month of August in which the service hours are from 9am to 3pm). In 2013, 5,852,903 calls were attended compared to 6,243,355 in the previous year, which is a decrease of 6.25 per cent.

Additionally, more than 85 million informative letters were sent to citizens and practical manuals on the main taxes (234,000 copies) were published, as well as numerous information leaflets, the taxpayer's calendar, bookmarks with the numbers of the telephone services of the Tax Agency, posters of the taxpayer's calendar and leaflets on the electronic DNI (Spanish ID card).
