Annual Report 2015

4.3.1. Identification, authentication and signature. Cl@ve PIN

The Tax Agency has participated in the design and implementation of the Cl@ve system, a common platform of the State Administrative Public Sector for identification, authentication and electronic signature through the use of private keys. This project meets the need for homogeneity, simplicity and shared services expressed in the CORA report. The Tax Agency assumes the responsibility for its activities in the areas which the regulations of this platform assign to it. One of the identification and authentication mechanisms offered by the Platform is Cl@ve PIN (formerly 24-H PIN), implemented by the Tax Agency.

It should be pointed out that in 2015, Cl@ve PIN can be used to request practically all tax certificates and to carry out almost all Tax Agency procedures for individuals. In addition, from 1 October 2015 onwards you can use Cl@ve PIN to make tax payments.
