4.1. Prevention of tax and customs fraud. Taxpayer assistance

In order to promote voluntary compliance and prevent non-compliance with tax and customs obligations, the Tax Agency deploys a wide range of information and assistance services to the taxpayer, for the most part, online (through the website of the Tax Agency https://sede.agenciatributaria.gob.es ) .

However, although the Internet has become the main communication channel with taxpayers, the Tax Agency maintains both in-person attention to taxpayers in its offices and telephone attention for certain services.
