In order to promote voluntary compliance and prevent non-compliance with tax and customs obligations, the Tax Agency deploys a wide range of information and assistance services to taxpayers, mostly online (through the Tax Agency website https://sede.agenciatributaria.gob.es ) .

However, although the Internet has become the main channel of communication with taxpayers, the Tax Agency maintains both face-to-face assistance to taxpayers in its offices and telephone assistance for certain services.
