OEP authorized to the Tax Agency in RD 407/2022, of May 24, which approves the public employment offer for the year 2022
On May 24, 2022, the Council of Ministers approved the largest public employment offer (OEP) in history for the General State Administration with which the Government intends to strengthen public policies by betting on quality public services, on the excellence of the Welfare State, on employment and on people.
The OEP authorized to the State Tax Administration Agency, configured as a priority public sector within the framework of the policies to fight fraud and preserve tax justice for the maintenance of public services, is for the year 2022 of 2,633 places (1,869 for open competition and 764 for internal promotion) for officials of assigned Corps and Specialties and its own labor staff.
This authorization responds, from a multi-year perspective, to the strategy of sizing and growth of the workforce defined in the strategic plan of the Tax Agency for the period 2020-2023, with the new personnel requirements derived from the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, and represents an increase of 23 percent of authorized positions compared to the OEP 2021 and 54 percent compared to the OEP 2020.
The aforementioned new positions will, in turn, be increased with those assigned, within the framework of the general planning of the General State Administration and the needs of the Tax Agency itself, from the selective processes of General Bodies or assigned to other Departments.
