July 17, 2026. Tax Agency officials and members of the Civil Guard's Fiscal Guard, as part of a tax control carried out at the Farga de Moles Customs (Lleida) on July 11, proceeded to seize 77 perfumes of 24 different brands, which were found as luggage inside a regular line bus.

The intervention took place at about 8:15 p.m., when a regular line bus from Andorra entered the Farga de Moles Customs.

Once parked in the designated space, the agents asked the passengers if any of them were transporting goods subject to declaration, with all passengers stating that they were not.

After a more thorough inspection of the vehicle, 77 perfumes from 24 different brands, valued at 9,515 euros, were found inside a luggage bag.

Once the passengers were questioned about the origin of the items, one of the occupants admitted that the material was his property and that he had acquired it in Andorra.

Once the seized merchandise was verified at the Tax Agency premises, the official of the Passenger Service proceeded to draw up the corresponding seizure report for an alleged administrative offense of smuggling, leaving the goods deposited in the Customs of La Farga de Moles, at the disposal of the Customs Authority.

This action falls within the powers entrusted to the Civil Guard in its Fiscal Protection functions, in coordination with the Customs and Excise Administrator of the Agency, developed in the field of customs control for the prevention and prosecution of smuggling, drug trafficking, fraud and other fiscal offenses and crimes.
