September 9, 2026. Officials from the Customs Surveillance Service of the Tax Agency and the Fiscal and Border Analysis and Information Unit of the Civil Guard have seized more than 60 kilos of marijuana in Vinaròs (Castellón) and have proceeded to arrest one person and summon a second individual as a suspect for the alleged commission of a crime of smuggling and another against public health.

The operation began with the discovery of a postal shipment that allegedly contained 5.5 kilos of hashish. Following the actions taken before the Duty Court of Vinaròs, the establishment where the postal shipment was addressed was searched, and more than two kilos of marijuana were seized.

Subsequently, two more postal packages were seized, inside which a total of more than 60 kilos of marijuana in the form of buds were found. All of this narcotic substance was sent packaged in one and ten kilo bags ready for handling for retail sale in smaller sales units.

For these acts, one person has been arrested and a second individual has been summoned as a suspect for the alleged commission of a smuggling offense and another against public health. The proceedings have been conducted in the Civil and First Instance Court of Vinaròs acting as the Duty Court.
