Maternity deduction and increase for childcare expenses
Information on the maternity deduction following its modification from January 1, 2023, as well as those related to the increase for childcare expenses following the Supreme Court ruling of January 8, 2024.
Completing the maternity deduction on the Income WEB website
As a general rule, the amount of the deduction will appear completed when you access Renta WEB to prepare the declaration.
This can be easily verified from the Results Summary that we will reach, directly or after entering certain tax data, when accessing Renta WEB.
In the event that the deduction does not appear completed when accessing the summary, to complete it, we will access the sections of the declaration from the Summary of results:
In these sections we will select within the section “Family deductions (maternity, disability and large family)” the subsection “For maternity. Exercise 2024”
We will indicate both the moment from which the deduction requirements are met and, where applicable, the amounts we have received in advance each month.
