Creation of the Forum

The EU VAT Forum, presided by the European Commission and comprised of the tax authorities of the Member states and organisations representing corporations and tax sector professionals, offers a platform of dialogue for debating real practical issues arising from the management of the current VAT system, as well as proposed possible solutions.

The EU VAT Forum was created on 3 July 2012 as a result of a European Commission Ruling (2012/C 198/05)
