We briefly describe the general aspects of the Billing Computer Systems and VERI*FACTU
Glossary of terms
VERI*FACTU: This is the term used by the Regulation to refer to one of the two methods of compliance with the standard, consisting of sending the billing records, simultaneously with their production, to the electronic headquarters of the Tax Agency. Colloquially, this is the name given to the Regulation that governs the requirements that computer billing systems must meet.
ROF. Billing Obligations Regulation, approved by RD 1619/2012, November 30.
RRSIF: Abbreviation for the Regulation governing the requirements for computer billing systems, approved by RD 1007/2023, of December 5.
QR code. The “Quick Response” QR code is the evolution of the barcode and allows, when scanned, to see the information it contains. It is common to include a URL to which the user is directed.
HASH. A mathematical algorithm or cryptographic function that transforms any block or set of computer data into a new series of characters with a fixed length (fingerprint). Any alteration to the data block, no matter how small, will return a different hash fingerprint, leaving a record of its alteration. The RRSIF uses part of the fingerprint of the previous record within the data block, thus chaining the records sequentially.
