Customs formalities: designated customs points (DCP)

Customs formalities related to the application of the agreement must be carried out at a designated customs post (“designated customs post” or DCP) which will be:

  • Customs and Excise Administration of The Line of the Conception.

  • Customs and Excise Administration of Sagunto.

  • Decentralized headquarters of Customs and Special Taxes of Algeciras.

Additionally, a branch of the DCP in La Línea is established. at Gibraltar airport for declarations, formalities and controls of goods and cash.

Finally, there will be another DCP in Portugal for situations where the Spanish DCPs are inoperable.
