Other goods presentation and temporary storage locations

If you bring goods into the EU customs territory, find out where to move them without delay.

"Presentation of goods" means the notification to the customs authorities of the arrival of the goods at customs, or at any other place designated or authorized by them, and of their availability for customs controls.

During the transitional period of development of electronic systems adjusted to Annex B of the Delegated Regulation ( EU ) 2015/2446. ( OJEU , March 15 -2016), presentation to Spanish customs is made with the temporary deposit declaration. Without prejudice to the above, shipments without appreciable value must be presented using the message provided for in Union regulations (G3 message).
Any person who brings goods into the customs territory of the Union must move them without delay:
  1. To the customs office designated by the customs authorities.
  2. To any other place designated or authorized by said authorities.
  3. To a free zone.

Goods introduced into the customs territory of the Union shall be presented to customs immediately upon arrival at any of the listed places.
