In order to enable import declarations adapted to CAU as soon as possible, the Tax Agency has developed this option. This is a transition option between the current import (described in the “Web Services Import Guide”) and the future CAU system (described in the “Technical Import Guide adapted to CAU ”).

The characteristics of this option are:

• Import declaration adapted to CAU . At a technical level, the schema of the input xml message is the same as that which will be used in the future CAU system.
• Application of transitional rules to the previous message, to be able to coexist in the same system of pre- CAU imports. Thus, for example, there will be data elements whose possible declaration, format or cardinality is limited at this stage.

With the opening of this option, the migration window for Economic Operators to the import system adapted to CAU begins. This window will close with enough time for adaptation to the system described in the “Import Technical Guide adapted to CAU ” and will be announced according to its availability.  
The availability of this transitional option is as follows:

• Version available in the test environment since 05/16/2023.
• Version available in the production environment from 09/05/2023.
