New numbering in declarations of linkage to Warehouse and Importation as of 01/01/2024

As of 01/01/2024, customs declarations relating to the link between warehousing and import, which involve the registration of a new declaration, will not be numbered as before: the sequential number assigned to the declaration by precinct (5 characters: In warehouse declarations and import declarations adapted to the UCC, 6 characters in import SAD declarations) will contain numbers and letters from the tenth declaration onwards. The letters Ñ and O are not considered.

In the examples shown, x would be the MRN check digit.

In the MRN column, the 5-character sequential number per precinct. The character that identifies what type of declaration it entails is highlighted in bold.

In 2024, the import SAD and the import declaration adapted to the European Union Customs Code (UC) will coexist. The sequential number per precinct is unique for both types of statements.
