The DG TAXUD has communicated that it agrees to postpone the deadline for the entry into force of the following provisions for goods entering the customs territory of the Union through Spain until 31/12/25, instead of until 1/9/25: ICS2 for road and rail transport, and may continue to be used until 31/12/25 ICS1 .

On the other hand, remember that, in accordance with Information Note 18/2024 of May 31 from the Department of Customs and Excise, regarding the deployment window for the transition to the ICS2 system, in the case of roll-on-roll-off (Ro-Ro) traffic (Combined Transport), both accompanied and unaccompanied, the deadlines provided for road and rail transport will apply.
