In it DOUE Today, 23/12/2025, Regulation (EU) 2025/2650 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 19 December 2025 has been published, amending Regulation (EU) 2023/1115 as regards certain obligations of operators and traders.

Pursuant to the same, Article 38 (Entry into force and application date) is amended:

"1. This Regulation shall enter into force twenty days after its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union.
2. Without prejudice to the provisions of paragraph 3 of this Article, Articles 3 to 13, 16 to 24, 26, 31 and 32 shall apply from 30 December 2026.
3. Except with regard to the products included in the Annex to Regulation (EU) No 995/2010, operators, whether natural persons, micro-enterprises or small enterprises within the meaning of Article 3(1) or paragraph 2(1) respectively of Directive 2013/34/ EU, irrespective of their legal form, who were established as such on 31 December 2024, shall be subject to the provisions of paragraph 2 of this Article from 30 June 2027.
