New improved validation on Transit Declarations that carry associated exports.

Starting July 21, these new rules will come into effect for the electronic process of registering transit declarations that involve associated exports (previous document group with type N830), to ensure compatibility between the type of transit declaration issued and the type of exports it involves. The new rules are as follows:

If the transit declaration type is T2F, then the associated exports must be of type CO. If the transit declaration type is T2, then the associated exports must be of type EX and must have the requested regime 10, 11, 21, 22 or 23.

If the transit declaration type is T2 and the associated exports are of type EX and have requested regime 10, then not all items of the associated exports can carry C651.

If the transit declaration type is equal to T1, then the associated exports must be of type equal to EX and must have the requested regime 31 or 10.

If the transit declaration type is T1 and the associated export is of type EX and with the requested regime equal to 10, then that export must contain a document of type C651.

These rules will be incorporated into the next revision of the NCTS5 Web Services Technical Guide.
