Version 5.0 of the Technical Guide for EXS Declarations (A1/A2), Re-export Notifications (A3) and Re-shipment Notifications (NR)

Version 5.0 of the technical guide for the submission of EXS Declarations, Re-export and Re-shipment Notifications is published, which describes the new version 5 of the IE615 web service adapted to the A1 , A2 and A3 declarations defined in the Union Customs Code (UCC) and regulations that develop it.

The main new feature, linked exclusively to this version and not available in previous versions, is the introduction of EXS Pre-declarations (PreEXS), which will be those with a preceding document DSDT or G4 not yet submitted/activated. PreEXS will be automatically activated upon submission of the last Temporary Storage Declaration (DSDT or G4) that appears as a previous document in any PreEXS consignment that is still pending activation/submission to customs.

This version will replace the current version 4. A transitional period of coexistence between both versions will be established, after which version 4 will be permanently closed.

The planned implementation schedule is as follows:

  • Pre-production testing of version 5: September 2025
  • Production Testing of version 5: October 2025
  • Version 5 goes into production: November 2025
  • Closing version 4: 2nd quarter of 2026
