Clarifications regarding DSDT dating: rounding of gross weight
A new document, "Clarifications on DSDT v1.0 Dating," is published alongside the DSDT Technical Guidesin which conflicting points related to the dating of the Summary Declarations of Temporary Deposit / Summary Declarations of Discharge will be clarified.
Initially, the method of rounding the gross weight in the declarations is clarified. CAU that date DSDT Since several rejections have been reported because what was stated in the customs declaration did not match what was declared in the Summary of Discharge, especially when several items of the same customs declaration have the same DSDT as a previous document and declare the gross weight with decimals.
To date each DSDT item, the gross weight declared in each item or previous document of the UCC customs declaration is rounded using the common rounding method (or HALF_UP), which means that it is rounded to the nearest whole number and if it is equidistant from two whole numbers (the decimal part is exactly “0.5”), the higher whole number is chosen.
