Update of technical guidelines for Temporary Storage CAU and closure of aerial DSDT
New versions of all technical guides related to the Temporary Deposit Declaration (CAU) are published: G3v2 (version 2.11), G4 (version 1.7) and G5v2 (version 2.9), which respectively cover the presentation of goods to customs (G3v2), the temporary storage declaration (G4) and the movement of goods in temporary storage (G5v2).
The following changes are of particular relevance:
- Homogenization and greater flexibility in validations of FullAddress sub-elements of all actors in all declarations covered by the technical guidelines.
- Clarifications on the procedures for declaring, submitting and moving low-value items.

Please note that on March 9, 2026, at approximately 9:00 a.m., the possibility of registering new terminals (means of transport) will close. DSDT in airfields with the message EDIFACT MANREP. EDIFACT MANREP messages will continue to be allowed/ MANCAR for modifications, activations, cancellations and deletions of headers and for additions, modifications, location changes (CUB), cancellations and deletions of items in headers already declared, on the items existing in DSDT, as well as the reference and dates of DSDTs already declared from any subsequent customs declaration.
Goods transported by new means after that date and time at air customs must be declared using G3v2 messages. G4, G5v2 and ATMNot defined in their technical guides, and therefore must be properly referenced and dated in subsequent customs declarations that establish their customs destination.
