FLEGT Licensing System-Ghana
On October 8, the Community Taric measure 770 - Control of imports of timber and timber products subject to the FLEGT-Ghana licensing system will come into effect as established by the Delegated Regulation (EU) 2025/530 of the Commission of 30 October 2024 amending Annexes I and III to Council Regulation (EC) No 2173/2005 following a Voluntary Partnership Agreement with Ghana on a Forest Law Enforcement, Governance and Trade (FLEGT) licensing scheme applicable to timber imports into the European Union.
For the tariff items affected by the measure, which correspond to those listed in the Annex to Delegated Regulation 2025/530, the certificate associated with the corresponding measure must be entered in the customs declaration, in Data Element (DE) 1203 Supporting Document:
