Beginning of the obligation to submit the new Notification of Arrival of Transit to the Customs of the Maritime Entry Pass

Please note that, starting September 23rd, it is mandatory to submit the new "Notification of Arrival of Transit to the Customs Office at the Maritime Entry Point" through the CC117D web service or through the new form called "Registration of Notification of Arrival of Transit to the Customs Office at the Maritime Entry Point," which will be available on the Customs/Transit page of the Tax Agency's Electronic Office from that date.

Therefore, from that day on, other means of communication with Customs, such as submission by registration or email, will no longer be accepted by operators to complete this procedure. It is important to note that this notification must be used by the operator when a transit vessel, Spanish or foreign, arrives at a maritime entry customs crossing and requires the date of a Temporary Storage Summary Declaration or a G4.

Instructions on how to complete this Notification using the CC117D web service or the form at the Headquarters, and the process for doing so, were published on July 28 in the Technical Guide for NCTS6 System Transit Web Services - V1.16, which is available on the Electronic Headquarters.  The different scenarios that may arise during this process are explained in detail in section 4.3.3 of the aforementioned technical guide.

It is important to highlight that the computer system of the AEAT The number of packages and gross mass will be taken, to date the summary declaration, from what was recorded in the original transit declaration. Therefore, operators are requested to be very strict in coordinating the information generated in the summary with the data in the original transit declaration.

In the testing environment, IT operators and developers can use the form available at the following link to submit this application:
