IMPORTANT NOTES ON THE CLOSURE OF AIR DSDTs

Please note that the possibility of registering new terminals (means of transport) will close on March 9, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. DSDT in airfields with the message EDIFACT MANREP . EDIFACT MANREP messages will continue to be allowed/ MANCAR for modifications, activations, cancellations and deletions of headers and for additions, modifications, location changes (CUB), cancellations and deletions of items in headers already declared, on the items existing in DSDT, as well as the reference and dates of DSDTs already declared from any subsequent customs declaration.

Goods transported by new means after that date and time at air customs must be declared with the messages G3v2 , G4, G5v2 and ATMNot defined in their technical guides, and therefore must be properly referenced and dated in subsequent customs declarations that establish their customs destination.

The EDIFACT error code tablewith codes 94 and 95. From the closing date and time onwards, all DSDT header registrations sent via EDIFACT with the MANREP message will give error 94 with associated text "DSDT header registrations (MANREP function 47) closed for air customs areas."

Also, from that date and time, transits will be prevented from automatically generating DSDTs in non-maritime premises (air, road and rail), leaving only the option of automatic G4 generation at the transit reception customs.

As previously reported, all economic operators declaring any customs declaration subsequent to the DSDT or G4 that dates these temporary storage declarations are urged to adapt their computer systems as soon as possible to support the previous document N337 (or similar) that allows the dating of both DSDTs and G4s, ceasing to use XSUM, XSUA and 337 (except the latter in H7 which is similar to N337).

It is expected that in the coming weeks, even before the March 9th closure, the volume of G4 in air-bound facilities will increase considerably, and there will even be (and already is) a small volume of G4 in sea-bound facilities generated automatically by Transits and G5G declarations.
