To ensure the correct functioning of the website with Microsoft Edge when carrying out a procedure from the Electronic Office, it is advisable to check the following aspects:
Basic browser settings
Access the Microsoft Edge settings menu from the three horizontal dots icon to the right of the address bar, select "Settings" and click the "Cookies and site permissions" link in the left margin.
Go to "Cookies and site data", confirm that you have activated the "Allow sites to save and read cookie data (recommended)" box; also leaves disabled the "Block third-party cookies" box.
In the "JavaScript" section, verify that it is set to "Allowed."
In "Pop-up elements and redirects" configure the pop-up elements allowing those of the Tax Agency website using the "Add" button in the "Allow" section.
Microsoft Edge and Java
You can use the Microsoft Edge browser to carry out the procedures that require Java at the AEAT electronic headquarters. Before you must perform the following configuration:
Go to "Settings" in the browser menu (3-dot icon in the upper right corner).
Select "Default browser" and set "Allow" in the "Allow sites to reload in Internet Explorer mode (IE compatibility)" section.
Next, restart the browser and, in the same "Settings" section, you must now "Add" to the list of sites: https://sede.agenciatributaria.gob.es
Once this is done, Microsoft Edge now works in compatibility mode with Internet Explorer (the icon appears next to the address bar) and should correctly execute the Java plugin in the procedures that require it.
After finishing the corresponding management with Java, it is advisable to run the AEAT page again with Microsoft Edge. To do this, press "Open in Microsoft Edge" when you access the page again. You can also undo the settings made by going back to "Settings", "Default browser".
