IOS - Error 403
Error 403 on IOS devices is generally caused by one of these 3 issues:
The certificate may have expired, been revoked, damaged or comes from an invalid copy (.cer).You may also have no certificate installed in the IOS certificate store ("Settings", "General", "Profiles").If the "Profiles" option does not appear, it means there are no certificates installed.
"Profiles" displays both downloaded source certificates and personal certificates.Select a certificate and click "More details" to check the date of validity.
Verify the correct functioning of the certificate on the issuing entity's website. If it is from the FNMT, enter with Safari at:https://www.sede.fnmt.gob.es/certificados/persona-fisica/verificar-estado and check the certificate information. If the certificate is correct, you will see a message reading 'Your certificate has just been verified.Your FNMT digital certificate is valid and has not been revoked.Your certificate is working properly".
You are using a non-recommended browser.
The compatible browser is "Safari", since "Mozilla Firefox" and "Google Chrome" are not enabled to manage IOS system certificates.
The certificate has not been selected correctly in the signature process.
Restart the browser and select the appropriate certificate at the time of signing. When exiting an application, e.g. the browser, it may not be closing completely. The process usually remains active. To close the browser, use the task manager. To open the task manager, double click on the start button located by default (depending on the version) at the bottom.Drag the app out of this list and it will be shut down.
We recommend that you delete your browser's temporary internet and cache files to ensure the error is not repeated due to being stored in your history. In Safari, go to the "Settings" menu on the system and select "Safari".Then click on "Clear website history and data" and click on "Clear history and data".
After restarting the browser correctly, if error 403 occurs again, after performing the above checks, go back to the previous window using the back arrow until you come to the same procedure window again. Now you will be able to select the right certificate.
