Prior considerations for using the remote support tool for Zoom on Android

You can install Zoom from the Play Store.

You can also access it from the Tax Agency's electronic office Computer queries, Remote support tools - Technical help and click the link Download for Windows, Mac, and Linux. The Zoom website will open and offer options to join the meeting, if the Zoom application is already installed, or to download it, either from Google Play or from the Zoom website itself.

Once installed, open Zoom and click on Entering a meeting.

If you are already logged into ZOOM, press Join

Enter the ID provided by the agent, your name (if you are not already identified) and press Join. You can connect without audio and disable video.

Next, enter the access code that the agent will also provide you.

You will access the agent's meeting room. Press Join and wait for the host to accept the connection to start the meeting.

Screen sharing

Press Further, Start Sharing and then, Screen.

Select whether you want to share the entire screen or a specific application.

It is not necessary to grant permissions for audio and video.

End meeting

To end the meeting with the agent, press the button. Abandon located in the lower right corner.
