Prior considerations for using the remote support tool for Zoom on Windows
If you already have Zoom installed
If the Zoom application is already installed on your computer, open it and click on Join either Entering a meeting.

Enter the ID that the agent will provide and press Join.

Next, enter the access code provided by the agent and press Join the meeting.

You will enter a waiting room, the agent will accept the connection and you will be able to start the meeting.
If the Zoom application is not installed or you don't know where it is
If you don't have Zoom installed or aren't sure, access it from the Electronic Office at Remote support tools - Technical help and press Download for Windows, Mac, and Linux.

The Zoom page will open. If the installer downloads automatically, you can run it directly to install Zoom, or ignore it and press [button name]. Join.


Enter the ID provided by the agent and press Enter.

In the next window you can join from your browser, or from the Zoom Workplace application.
Join from your browser (No Zoom installation required)

After pressing this option, continue without camera or microphone and indicate the name you want to be displayed in the meeting.



Join from the Zoom Workplace app
Note: If you use this option, it is recommended that you do so from a different browser than the one you will use to resolve the incident or carry out the procedure, as it may be necessary to restart/reset the browser and this would mean abandoning the meeting.
Press Join from the Zoom Workplace app. If it's not installed, press Download now.

Note: if the warning appears This site is trying to open Zoom Meetings This means that Zoom is already installed and you can also click on Open within the notice itself.

Screen sharing
Once inside the meeting, the agent will ask you to share your screen so they can view the issue. Press Share screen At the bottom, select Full screen and click on Share.

End meeting
To end the meeting with the agent, press the "Leave" button located at the bottom of the screen.
