Incorrect anagram or taxpayer NIF
The error "Incorrect anagram" or " NIF of the wrong taxpayer" may appear when making any payment attempt in AEAT for self-assessments or settlements/debts by direct debit or by card.
It is important to check that the first letters entered in the "Surname" field, only for natural persons, match the data appearing in the census for the NIF entered.
You can check whether the data appears correctly in the AEAT census by accessing "Verification of a NIF of third parties for census purposes" (requires electronic certificate).
