Errors when importing files
Skip information indexFRENCH. The file was rejected ENCODING
If you receive the message "FRECH. The file was rejected. "No records were imported" together with the code "ENCODING" means that the file was generated by an external program with an unsupported character set or special characters were used when entering the data (apostrophes, accents, etc.).
In this case, it is recommended that you contact the support of the application you used to obtain the file. However, you can perform the following checks:
- Open the file with a text editor, for example Windows Notepad. Go to the "File" menu, "Save as" and in the "Encoding" drop-down menu, choose type " ANSI ". Rename the file before clicking the "Save" button to avoid overwriting the original file. Please try importing the file again.
- If it persists, reopen the file with a text editor and use the "Find and Replace" tool to locate special characters such as apostrophes, tildes, umlauts, etc. and replace them with a space. Please save the file again with a different name than the original and try to import the file now.
If the error continues to appear, please report the errors to your software vendor for further information.
