Cl@ve is an electronic identity verification platform for the identification and authentication of taxpayers. It allows identification before Public Administrations with full security guarantees. Cl@ve allows natural persons to carry out procedures with the AEAT through the Internet. To use Cl@ve you must perform the following steps:
This system is only for natural persons with DNI or NIE who are not required to make their presentations by Internet with electronic certificate.
It is based on the use of a code chosen by the user and a PIN communicated by SMS or through the App (if available). of an active device with the Cl@ve app installed), requested when accessing any management for which access is allowed through said system, for example, from the Tax Agency's own app or from a browser.
To install the Cl@ve app, you can search for “Cl@ve” for both Android and iOS, in their corresponding mobile application markets , being available for free download.
It is not necessary to remember any password permanently, which provides great security since its validity, if not used, is limited in time -10 minutes- .
The PIN obtained is valid for a work session and for all the procedures you wish to carry out during the duration of the session. Once the PIN has expired, you can request another one immediately.
