IX.3.3. Warranty Coverage
Article 2 of the TIR Convention
The TIR Convention makes no distinction as to the goods that may be transported under a TIR Carnet.
However, the international chain of guarantee does not cover alcoholic products or tobacco products listed below. This limitation applies regardless of the quantities of goods involved. Therefore, the maximum amount of the guarantee mentioned above in section IX.3.2.1 shall apply to the transport of all goods other than the following alcoholic products and tobacco products:
